-Story: [2 out of 5] It was a nice little entertaining story. As nice as it could be with so many fall outs and loose ends. In my opinion, this movie needed not have been that long… I mean, remove that unnecessary Amnesia addition to the storyline and we’d have a much better movie in three parts instead of four. How does it make sense to sentence someone to murder without any evidence that their supposed victim was actually dead?
-Originality: [2 out of 5] This movie came out when Nollywood was having her whole twin craze. Back then everybody had a twin movie, it was the in thing and it all started with (I think), Ramsey Noah, in Dangerous Twins alongside Stella Damasus. In fact, Genny herself even had two twin movies: Caught in the act and Love My Way
-Predictability: [0 out of 5] The end was very much what we all saw coming… (hint: twins)
-Directing/Editing: [2 out of 5] I didn’t think the movie really needed to be that long. Take away the whole Amnesia storyline (which was in my opinion, a lazy man’s way of tying the movie together and ripping viewers off) and some unnecessary driving scenes and it would have been shorter and saved me time.
-Acting quality: [3 out of 5] Genevieve vs. Genevieve… who will win? In my opinion, the evil twin was definitely the standout character in this movie. Genevieve did an amazing job and this movie definitely highlighted her versatility (see our madam blowing Yoruba sha o). Come and see Clarion Chukwura like you have never seen her before. None of that razz village act, she had so much class and poise in this movie that I wondered where she had been hiding this side of her. This movie indeed brought out the best of most of the actors in it, even Nonso Diobi was at his best. Kofi Adjorlolo is indeed an amazing actor. Fits in superbly into any role (at least into all the roles I’ve seen him in). Uche Jombo as the lawyer and best friend of Genevieve did a good job. The only people who pissed me off in this movie really were the extras and McMorris Ndubueze. My guy just needs to stop forcing the grammar… if you no fit then you no fit.
-Setting: [3 out of 5] Ok
-Costume/Make-Up: [2 out of 5] Everyone looked good except… Clarion looked like she had teletubbies do her make up and some of the outfits they had on Kofi was beyond horrendous.
-Props and Graphics: [3 out of 5] On Point
-Video Quality: [3 out of 5] Ok
-Audio Quality [3 out of 5] Ok
-Soundtrack: [3 out of 5] Goood
-Musical Score: [3 out of 5] Nicely done
