Not a very cognitive film
-Story: [0 out of 5] Many things in this movie made no sense. Like how is Christabel Ekeh commissioned by Roselyn’s mother to look after Roselyn when Roselyn looks like she’s twice as old as Ms. Ekeh. How does Prince find someone lying lifeless at a beach and, knowing fully well that he’s not a doctor, he takes her to a room as opposed to the hospital? To state it simply, I thought many things in this movie were just ridiculously (dare I say) stupid!
-Originality: [0 out of 5] The ‘bitter’ people storyline is a bit overdone, don’t you think?
-Predictability: [1 out of 5] Comme ci, comme ca
-Directing/Editing: [1 out of 5] *cough cough* (attempts to gather thoughts… alright let’s do this…) Whilst watching this movie I was overwhelmed with a strong sense of ridiculousness. There was just too much ridiculousness from scene to scene (and I will attempt to break it down in the acting) but the entire thing just seemed wrong.
-Acting quality: [1 out of 5] I am really tempted to say that everyone in this movie was at his or her absolute worst, but I can’t because, I can’t fault Khareema. And another reason why I can’t say that is because some people (Martha & Prince) can’t possibly get any worse. Martha is still incapable of becoming the character. To state it in unconventional (aka “ghetto”) terms, “she be doing the most”. And then we have Prince, who is literally incapable of emoting (my guy just get that ONE look and everything else is drag drag drag). Scott Robert is just a disaster waiting to happen. After the first couple scenes, I didn’t think he could possibly get worse but my guy proved me wrong and did just that (he found a way to get worse). Everybody was just reciting lines in this movie, even Roselyn was acting an incapacitated fresher.
-Setting: [3 out of 5] On point
-Costume/Make-Up: [3 out of 5] Ok
-Props and Graphics: [3 out of 5] Not bad
-Video Quality: [3 out of 5] Fair
-Audio Quality [3 out of 5] Good
-Soundtrack: [1 out of 5] Uses a lot of foreign music that is not credited in the end
-Musical Score: [2 out of 5] I thought the musical score was too forceful and overly dramatic
