What goes on in a screenwriter’s mind? It must be a truly fascinating place, always entertaining, never a dull moment, ever intriguing. And if that’s true for all screenwriters then Tunde Babalola’s mind must be a paradise or a beautiful chaos – it’s all about perspective.
You might recognize the face but not the name, or the name but not the face, or none at all but you definitely recognize his works. What do Mealdred Okwo, Kunle Afolayan, Izu Ojukwu and Tunde Kelani have in common? Hint: it’s something other than greatness. It’s Tunde Babalola.
Tunde Babalola is a Nigerian screenwriter who graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University with a degree in Dramatic Arts. He later relocated to the UK where he was involved in writing the screenplay for the series “In Exile”. You might recognize him by his works which include Maami, October 1, The Meeting, Alero’s Symphony and Critical Assignment.
