There’s a freedom that comes with shorts inherently in that they don’t really have to be about anything and they don’t need to take a stance on anything but like any other entertainment piece, they still have to entertain. And Domestic Accident definitely does that.
Domestic Accident follows ‘Tega’ (Chima Precious) as he tries to take control of his currently trapped life by locking himself up in a room with his worst fear in an attempt to overcome it. What happens next is the least he could have expected.
The synopsis above is really all you have to work with going in and it manages to picque your interest all the way till the end. It creates that suspense in 7 minutes that by the end you can’t help but laugh at yourself for how invested you were.
If you are a series film consumer only, this one might not be for you. If you are open to something lighter then enjoy Luke Aire Oyovbaire’s short film “Domestic Accident” below.
