Is It Your Money is an investigative documentary series highlighting the widespread looting across fifteen jurisdictions in Nigeria, and how corruption and politics contribute to the issue. The documentary was filmed across three countries, covering eight cities with exclusive access to investigators from the FBI, the MET Police and the EFCC.
“Is It Your Money?” The story of Diezani Alison-Madueke is directed by Chude Jideonwo.
The project, “Is it your money?” was in development two years ago as Judith Audu, Eromo Egbejule and Chude Jideonwo being the producers.
Bolu Akindele, Stephen Kobams, Opeyemi Todah and Biola Olaore joined as associate producers. Nodash Adejuyigbe was named the story and technical consultant.
The editors involved are Micheal ‘Amapslamist’ Akinrogunde, Bolanle Janet Jegede, Damilare Adeeso, Ayoife Oni and Pelumi Akintomiwa.
Chude Jideonwo, Mfon Ekpo, ‘Yemi Adamolekun, Mojolaoluwa Aderemi-Makinde and Capital Film Productions are attached as the executive producers.
Moses Babatope is set as the sales and distribution consultant. The director of photography is Sanmi Adeola.
The documentary series is funded by The MacArthur Foundation.
The director, Chude Jideonwo expressed his excitement for the docu-series by making a post on Instagram, saying,
“Over the past two years, a 100+ member team has been working quietly on the most ambitious, biggest-budget docu-series project from our dear country. Shot across 3 countries, Covering 8 cities, We traced confirmed and alleged loot across 15 jurisdictions.
