MY TWO-CENTS:Ā Aaaah! Omoni Oboli o…. Chei! This girl is a FORCE! A force to be reckoned with. The fact that some people can open their mouth and say ‘Who?’ after I say ‘Omoni’ just really vexates me. I mean with talent like this… you should be headlining! Aaaaah… babe you too much but before I get lost in your immense depth as an actress let me address other matters.
The story behind “Feathered Dreams” is one that most Africans (or should I just say Nigerians) are well acquainted with. At least one out of every three of us had/has a parent who just wants to be called Mama/Papa Dokita or Lawya or Hen-jin-yar. If your dream is to become a musician in Nigeria then it’s best you kept it to yourself cos most parents won’t hear of it.
Let me not get lost in that… I love that the story is relateable and unlike most other Nollywood in Diaspora films, I am actually quite impressed with it.
The movie was shot on location in Ukraine! Release details are currently unavailable

I will do… thanks again! š
Ghollywood don come again oo first it was bollywood rip now yollywood rip the new movie wannabe starring yvonne nelson is a rip of a yoruba movie titled alakada starring toyin aimakhu doris simeon.ghollywood try to be creative na but all the same “ole” is “ole”
You know say na all of una dey save me! I for watch this entire movie, review am finish (probably with originality as 5 sef) because I no dey watch Yoruba feem.
I wonder who produced/directed this “wanna be” movie sef… I don’t put it past Frank Rajah them or A.A Productions…
Regardless, thanks for the heads up and yes o “Ole is Ole”… I really need to up my Yollywood game, only God knows how many movies they’ve stolen and I’ve reviewed as original.
I love the trailer. Looks clean compared to other tacky trailers I’ve seen recently.
the trailer leaves much to be desired; however omoni’s choice of movies have been impressive and she has proven that she can be in the same league with the likes of geeny, omo and rita even though i don’t think she is in that league yet. We will wait and see how this movie turns out.
Omoni is a gud actress oo bt isnt she too old 4 d role? #JustAsking oo… TrueTalk, all dis foreign collabo movies dnt always turn out to b good bt omoni will make me watch…There’s notin spectacular about d trailer bt i c u Omoni.
Tbh, this trailer is not that good. The only reason im anticipating this movie is because Omoni really hasn’t given me a reason to doubt her movie selection. I had reservations about Anchor Baby and it turned out to be tots awesome.
So, I’m just gon be optimistic :)))))
LOL at Hen-Jin-yar. For a second, I thought it was another language sha.
I am typically very skeptical about Nollywood-collabo-type movies because they tend to have sub-par actors abroad acting alongside Nollywood actors and actresses. Though, some would argue that Nollywood actors/actresses sef are sub-par, let’s assume they’re pretty good at what they do.
Having said that, we shall see how this movie turns out. The trailer get as e be.
Haha it’s not another language o lol
Yeah! I usually have that problem too but this one looks like someone put time and effort into it but I guess we really can’t say until we see it so… we’ll see.. š
