Another top movie, which starts with a call placed to Isaac's (Ekow Smith Asante) house. `wrong number, wrong house`. Coincidentally the call was answered by another maid Adjoa (Ini Edo) who sounded just like his own maid. Thinking she was talking to her boss, she obeyed the instruction given to her; An innocent man was stabbed........A shocking revelation of apparent physical resemblance of two maids. Adjoa is still subjected to jail. Where lies her fate as maid who obeyed the wrong boss?
The movie, Wrong Number, is divided into three parts: Wrong Number part 1, 2, and 3. The movie is also called "Divert Call" in some areas. The sequel to Divert Call is Screen Saver (i reserve my comments on the title).

-Story: [0 out of 5] Seriously? There are some ideas that come up in ones head and need to stay right there… in your head. From scene to scene, the viewer’s intelligence is blatantly insulted. First of all… (**singing with Maria’s voice from sound of music*** “Let’s start at the very beginning. A very good place to start)… how on earth didn’t the first Ini Edo realize that the person who was calling her neither sounded like her boss nor was he calling from her boss’ number? Who on earth is stupid enough to go and carry a knife to stab a man on a random stranger’s orders? In fact, even Ecow’s character sef was questionable… why is your first line of thought, when you find out that your wife might be in bed with another man, to send the maid to get a knife? This is yet another twin story. The idea behind it is interesting but it is literally impossible to execute without insulting my intelligence (and my intelligence refuses to be insulted thank you very much).
-Originality: [2 out of 5] To a certain extent… yes! I mean, I’d like to think that the (fairly ridiculous) concept of calling a random house and ordering the maid to kill her boss is fairly new in Nollywood. But then again, the twin stories… eek! Just stop it! We need no more twins… e don do.
-Predictability: [1 out of 5] It was indeed predictably stupid, for the most part. And the rest… heads? or tails?
-Directing/Editing: [0 out of 5] Yes! It’s not a four part movie. But still, it is insulting. Too many overly prolonged scenes and flashbacks, in fact, suffice to say that half the flashbacks in this movie were grossly irrelevant. See, a typical movie has an exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and a denouement. Granted! Some people are so skilled (needless to mention that whosoever was behind this script is not in the aforementioned class) that they can redefine the standards and make up their own formulas for story telling. One of these formulas would be what is commonly known as ‘in media res’. In media res is a technique of starting a story in the middle and filling the gaps as you go. But when the person who thought up in media res was formulating it, I’m pretty certain he did not intend for it to be a) this boring b)this long and c) this confusing. And that hospital scene… Oh! My! Dayz! How stupid are y’all? Was someone even watching the direction… I would list all the faults but I might as well retell the story. However, I think I should point out to the director and the female who played the doctor in the scene that even if the ‘character of Khareema’s husband’ had a chance of surviving, he wouldn’t have because of incompetent medical staff who were sitting there half the time talking about what they should do instead of actually doing it.
-Acting quality: [2 out of 5] Acting? Let’s see… I liked Ini, Ecow and that’s it. I liked Nadia sometimes. Khareema was pretty impressive. James… eh! Nikki.. bleh. Extras… eek
-Setting: [2 out of 5] All on point exempting the hospital scene
-Costume/Make-Up: [3 out of 5] Ok
-Props and Graphics: [1 out of 5] Tell me why, Ini Edo comes in her master’s bedroom. Slashes him with a knife. Camera off. Camera on. Knife is suddenly in his chest? Hello! She didn’t even stab him, she just slashed him lightly and the ole bled to death… (please hand in your man card… yes! even in death)

-Audio Quality [1 out of 5] Could barely hear anything beneath the musical score
