“A society that does not value its women is a society without values.”
Set in present-day Nigeria, AINA is a story of courage, survival, and friendship. It is a love story with a tragically enticing plot, complimented by wonderful cinematography, eye-pleasing locations — making this film a joy to watch.
Here’s the trailer for the upcoming movie, AINA starring…
Alexx Ekubo, Kadiatu Kamara, Kenneth Okolie, Ijeoma Agu, Rita Oribioye, Alex Ameh, Opeyemi Awoyemi, Maxwell Nwokoye, and Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa, amongst many others.
MY TWO-CENTS: Aina, is a Nollywood movie made by a Nigerian in Diaspora. Hence, suffice to say it might as well be a Nollywood – In- (if not USA then..) Diaspora – Film. And as with all Nollywood movies made abroad I have my doubts. From what I see in the trailer and Synopsis, it might be a nice movie. Don’t want to get my hopes up too high though…
AINA will be released in 2012
AINA looks good and I want to see it. The faces are different and the story is different.
Thank you for sharing, AINA looks really interesting.
“I love Nigeria”, she said. I definitely need to find out more…
This looks like a great diaspora movie.
