Recently accepted into the Top Shorts Online Film Festival in the Narrative Fiction Category, “Bola’s Dirge” is a short film initially released in 2013 and starring Tomi Odunsi.
BOLA’S DIRGEĀ is an avant-garde short film about the struggle of a young woman through poverty and the circumstances that lead her to a life of prostitution; and her quest for redemption when she chooses to keep a pregnancy.Ā Itās a different take on the archetypal story of the prostitute with the āheart of goldā, breaking the fourth wall and urging the audience to engage with the filmās central character- a troubled, troublesome and strong-willed young woman.
