OSATO is an upcoming ROK Studios production that premiered on the 1st of December and will have an official theatrical release all over the country on the 8th of December.
In Osato, the titular character embarks on a compelling journey, grappling with the demanding realities of her profession and becoming entangled in a network of illicit operations. Torn between the harsh realities of her profession and entangled in a web of crime, Osato’s journey unfolds.
The movie stars Shawn Faqua (The House of Secrets, The Trade), Johnson Ibeh (Finding Odera), Etinosa Idemudia (Uwaoma, Mad Neighbours), Deyemi Okanlowon (The Origin: Madam Koi-Koi, Blood Sisters), Josephina Phyna Otabor (Ada Omo Daddy), Femi Branch (The Black Book), Caz Chidiebere (Strange Stranger) and Mercy Aigbe (Ada Omo Daddy).

The film is written by Prisca Okeke and Etinosa Idemudia. A notable work of Prisca Okeke is Blood of Enogie, which is set in ancient Benin kingdom, about a king who commits suicide and his brother inherits both the crown and a curse.
The production house behind OSATO is Creative Unit studios. The Executive producers are Mary Njoku and ROK Studios. The producers are Charles Uwagbai and Etinosa Idemudia. Charles Uwagbai is an acclaimed director known for his movies such as Blood Of Enogie, The Ghost and the Tout and Finding Odera. The director is also Charles Uwagbai and the movie will be distributed by Genesis Pictures.
