Freemen portrays the story of Anene, a dynamic Nigerian businessman who takes young David under his wing, introducing him to the Igbo apprenticeship system.
The documentary is structured into four distinctive parts, providing an in-depth exploration of the Igbo apprenticeship system. These segments include the pick-up and negotiations period, trial period, solidification of agreement and work period, and settlement period. Each of these segments offers a unique perspective on the apprenticeship journey.
Notable influences like Dr. Cosmas Maduka, Obi Iyiegbu and Illbliss Goretti are involved in the show.
The reality show will be launched on Showmax. New episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays.
