-Story: [2 out of 5] The story teaches a lesson
-Originality: [0 out of 5] It is a story that is a bit overdone in the Nollywood in dustry, and dare I say, with the same ‘Evil’ cast i.e Patience and Chiwetalu
-Predictability: [0 out of 5] I think we all know how a movie called ‘Evil Manipulation’ and starring Patience Ozokwor will end.
-Directing/Editing: [2 out of 5] I don’t know if I should blame this on the editing or the directing, what I basically want to know is why they forgot to take the ring off Van Vicker’s fingers after he divorced Mercy Johnson’s character in the bank scene?
-Acting quality: [2 out of 5] It composed of a highly skilled act, so as expected the acting was not as crappy as it usually is. I am actually very excited that for the first time they casted Camilla in a role that is less razz and rugged than her usual role in movies such as “Tea and Coffee” and I must admit that she did really well. I hope the people in charge of casting in upcoming Nollywood movies begin to realize that most of our actors are versatile, stop constricting them to the same roles. Tonto must not always be a whore, just like Patience must not always be a witch and Nkiru must not always be crying. Try something different.
-Setting and Costume: [0 out of 5] Have you seen Princess Tyra and any other Ghanian movie involving a royal family? Now do you recall what exactly their palaces looked like? Personally, I remember every Ghallywood movie I watched had palaces that were just beyond stunning and then I watch a Nollywood movie and the palace is just a bunch of wooden chairs and little boys in outfits made of curtain in the name of guards. It is very disappointing, Nollywood needs to up her game.
-Video and Audio Quality [2 out of 5] No glaring faults
-Soundtrack [2 out of 5] Fair
