Memories of my Heart
Ramsey Noah, Nse Ikpe Etim, Ini Edo, Desmond Elliot, Uche Jombo, Monalisa Chinda, Ali Nuhu, Kofi Adjorlolo
The movie "Memories of my heart", like any decent movie should, has only two parts. Memories of my Heart Part 1 &2.
Desmond Elliot
Emem Isong, Ini Edo
Nse Ikpe-Etim
-Story: [2 out of 5] I absolutely loved the story of the movie. Usually the acting or directing or music (only one though) is a major ‘influencer’ (<==not a word) of my decision on the story; however, in this movie everything intertwined produced an outstanding work of art. The story is beautiful and anyone who is a fan of love stories should definitely watch this movie
-Originality: [2 out of 5] Generally it was a very original story however it does remind me a bit of the story between Yvonne Okoro and John Dumelo in “The Game”. However, it is an original.
-Predictability: [2 out of 5]What? It’s a love story. What do you expect? Everyone has to live happily ever after.
-Directing/Editing: [3 out of 5] Outstanding, outstanding, outstanding…. (all the dots are for outstanding). Ini Edo and Nse definitely have some talent and combined with the powerful forces that are Emem and Desmond, this movie was nothing short of OUTSTANDING.
-Acting quality: [4 out of 5] Great. Plus did I mention that Ramsey Noah is extremely fine. I tweeted before that “Ramsey Noah is extremely handsome. His beauty is TIMELESS!” I read some online article a couple days ago comparing Ramsey and Van. I swear when I clicked on that link and read the part that said Van is hotter and more popular than Ramsey, I wanted to slap myself. Van might be cute, but only for a moment. You think I’m lying? Do you remember when you first saw Van on TV, how fine you thought he was compared to how you feel now. For me, being that I first saw him in the movie Raj before Beyonce, I have been seeing his face on my TV screen for a while and I don’t think it is even comprehensible why anyone would compare the hotness that is Ramsey with Van Vicker.
-Setting and Costume: [4 out of 5] Mindblowing
-Video and Audio Quality [4 out of 5] Great
-Soundtrack [4 out of 5] Oh my God! Who is this Slam person? Cos he was definitely slamming (not to sound corny) but he is amazing. I mean, he is like the pop version of Sammie Okposo. I think I’m in love…lol
Ramsey is absolutely hawwwwwt.
Nse Ikpe Etim is a wonderful actress. i almost forgot it was a movie as she and Ini made the movie so real. Ini’s costume must be matched with each role so that she does not look trashy when she is playing the Billionaire’s sweetheart.
I couldn’t agree more with the reviewer. I have also been searching a good love story “And they lived forever after” kind of African movie to share with some friends in the US. I couldn’t find any till I saw “Memories of my heart.” I told myself “this is the movie!” I don’t mind sharing it and for the FIRST time, for the FIRST I bought an African movie. Till now, I have not been impressed by any African movie to spend my money on. This did it!
Speaking of being impressed, I’m mind-blown by you cos I swear if I wasn’t Nigerian or Ghanaian I wouldn’t give a rat’s tail about the industrys. I actually pleasantly look forward to listening to your reviews whilst working out on thursdays now since the last one. You’re doing a great job keep it up.
And YES!! I absolutely love Ini Edo’s new handle too 🙂
Loved the movie, as well. Was actually surprised, since I picked it up for my mother and had zero expectations.
I do not know what happened to Ini Edo, but she is on the right track. She is stepping up her craft. And, Nse is someone to watch, I am increasingly impressed.
