-Story: [2 out of 5] IT was a well constructed story but at the end of the movie, I felt like I had wasted a significant portion of my life.
-Originality: [2 out of 5] It’s not a new story but you don’t realize that when you’re watching the movie so all in all. It was good.
-Predictability: [1 out of 5]Predictability-wise, I think the title gave most of it away but the ending was strange not predictable but strange.
-Directing/Editing: [2 out of 5] There is nothing more annoying than an unnecessary scene, the director seemed to have this desire to show us an extended scene of Uche Jombo shaking her derriere. Now that might be appealing and all to male audiences, but what are the odds that a male audience is watching a romantic Nigerian movie versus a female audience. With this in mind, I completely understand that the objective was to depict her as a whore but after 1 minute of showing her dancing, WE GET IT; MOVE ON TO THE NEXT SCENE.
-Acting quality: [2 out of 5] Alright, not to seem overly pessimistic or anti new talent, some of the people in this movie could not act and yet they were given major roles, no I am not talking about Uchenna Nnanna but Ruby and her friend’s acting was definitely shaky and her said husband was worse.
-Setting and Costume: [2 out of 5] The entire cast’s costume was ok but here and there there were some little faults like a bra strap peeking out and others. Little details accumulate to equate tackiness.
-Video and Audio Quality [2 out of 5] On point.
-Soundtrack [0 out of 5] Honestly to say that Shedrach John was disappointing in this movie would be to say the least. In the first two parts of the movie, a different song was used and that song actually probably wasn’t meant for this movie because it was telling a story about some man named Titus. Seeing as there is no one named Titus, in the movie Jealous Husband it is obvious that someone used the wrong music. I think the mistake was realized in its sequel, End of Jealous Husband, and the music was changed. However, the soundtrack still told the story.
