-Story: [2 out of 5] I adored the story in the first two parts of the movie and I was simply intrigued, however, a few minutes into the sequel, I almost got bored. I think, this movie could have been cut to three parts as opposed to stretching it out over four parts and repeating the same motifs over and over again.
-Originality: [1 out of 5] Naturally this script would not be considered original at all because the usual Lagos Runs girl script is a bit overdone if you ask me. However, the ending of this movie definitely separates it from the rest.
-Predictability: [1 out of 5] The ending of this movie was definitely the most unpredictable ending I have seen in a very long while.
-Directing/Editing: [2 out of 5] I had no major problems with the Directing and Editing except for the fact that at the end of the movie, it seemed to me that a lot of ends were still loose. What happened to Nse’s ‘mother’, how about the man she was supposed to marry, what happened to Eve’s character, how did the dead man die? Amongst many other questions. And finally, there was a scene where Ini Edo leaves a card for Yul that says, “it hurts to see the one you love in love with another” (no this is not part of my reviewing) but I was just wondering, do they really make cards that say that?
-Acting Quality: [3 out of 5] The acting was amazing on all fronts. I really believe that Nse Ikpe-Etim is fast growing into an actress to be reckoned with in the industry. Bishop Umoh is definitely the next generation of Osuofia and Eve Esin gets stronger and stronger.
-Settings and Costumes: [2 out of 5] I am perfectly fine with most of the outfits and settings but I just don’t understand why most of the fat girls in the first couple of scenes were clad in tiny dresses. Did the store run out of their size?-Video and Audio Quality [2 out of 5] Good
-Soundtrack [3 out of 5] I thought the soundtrack was highly entertaining.

Nse Ikpe-Etim is an unstoppable talent, Nollywood needed her. Faces/Skills were getting stale.
With a thoughtful filmography, she can have a great acting career.
Her acting consistency is the asset; you buy her movies knowing she is not resting on pretty or fans’ adulation.
You’re right that African parental pressure is huge. Competition should not be the foundation of child-rearing. Great intro!
Thanks dear, I agree with you about Nse. She is a “Silent Tsunami” and the change she is bringing into the industry is definitely a positive one and very long awaited.
