Single Six
Across the walks of life, our desires and needs are subtly comparable but different with ladies especially a crave for love and emotional fulfilment and lifelong committment is a preoccupation that takes center stage. For a group of six friends, the story is all too synonymous: baggage carriers under false pretexts, illusions of the optimal that is never coming...victims of lies and deciets, realities of uncontrollable desires... A must watch
The movie, Single 6 is divided into four parts namely, Single 6 part 1 -4 and are now available to be purchased under the BUY NOW tab.

-Story: [3 out of 5] Single Six was funny, no it was hilarious, in fact it was humor personified. I started watching this movie in a public place and I had to pause till I got home because I was literally making a fool out of my self laughing all over the place. The story is pretty typical of a movie like this. You see 6 women strutting on the cover of the poster and you immediately know what the movie is about (well… at least you have a general idea). However, I loved Yvonne Okoro’s character’s story and I strongly believe that if her story alone is taken, blown up, produced (PROPERLY maybe by someone like Leila Djansi) it would be more than a blockbuster.
-Originality: [0 out of 5] Not very original but then again it’s a feel good movie (correct me if I’m wrong).
-Predictability: [3 out of 5] I had planned to allot a much lower score to this movie for predictability because I was convinced that I had the ending pinned besides, what else could they possibly spring up? The ending was great and was definitely different and along the course of the movie there were a couple of surprises that just kept springing up.
-Directing/Editing: [2 out of 5] A couple points that were ….uhm… forgotten/ignored. Why was Yvonne Okoro sleeping with makeup on? Don’t tell me she wasn’t wearing makeup because I can see, and my eyes saw makeup. In the opening scenes when the bride is getting out of the car, why is she walking into the church with her groom? I thought the bride’s father walks her in… o! What do I know (on a serious note though, I didn’t take points away for this because I realize that you can do whatever you want in your wedding besides no be you dey pay for am? It’s your day, if you like wear bum shorts and a tank top as opposed to wedding gown, nobody fit query you). In the scene where Eddie Watson’s character was attempting to rape Yvonne’s daughter, why is the girl just standing there. If you ask me, if someone was trying to rape me, I go pick my slippers, look back. Look front, begin to pick race. But this girl….no!!! The girl just stood there, turning around with her potential rapist, playing ringa ringa rosy and asking stupid questions like, “What do you want from me?” Babe, I think it’s pretty clear. You are wearing tight shorts, he is a man with an “insatiable libido” (in the words of Nse Ikpe Etim in “Reloaded”). RUN!!!
-Acting Quality: [1 out of 5]Normally, I’d list the people who couldn’t act in this movie but that would be equivalent to re-listing the cast in this case so I presume it should be a lot easier to just list those who could act and we have John Dumelo, Adjetey Anang, Beverly Afaglo, ‘the light skinned one’ and Yvonne Okoro. Ebi Bright can act sha o but in some scenes she was definitely “over-acting”. Ironically, I do NOT believe that the actress that played the part of an ‘actress’ could actually act. Most of the extras were horrible in their roles. However, I can not completely fault this movie, in some scenes some of the single six could act but in most scenes they couldn’t.
-Settings and Costumes: [2 out of 5] I don’t feel like beating about the bush here so I’m going to state this simply and in simple words. Yvonne Okoro’s hair was funny looking and The Character of the Actress either she couldn’t dress or there was no clothe that fit her. No offense but her outfits were mostly annoying. Finally, what on earth is the guy on the left wearing?
-Video and Audio Quality [3 out of 5] On point
-Soundtrack [4 out of 5] Ah! I can not shut up about Bernie Anti, you are too much. I love how at the end of each part it goes, “that’s the end?”
the ‘actress’ in the movie is a singer. i don’t know why she was put there. i think she should stick to her musical career
lol the same way I don’t understand why most of these Nigerian models are turning to acting. Everyone thinks they are multitalented these days
Hummm….great review… I dont think I want to watch it.
