he incontestable bond and expression of love shared between Ellen, a renowned elite who wields strong influence in the society and her daughter Latisha is quite an insidious mystery. Their livelihood remains a hidden secret, and the far-fetched persistence by media houses to solicit an exclusive interview of the family only an exercise in futility. -Story: [3 out of 5] I think it was actually quite an entertaining story. Intriguing enough! And fascinating at the end. Granted the story was a bit confusing at many many parts but that’s a given with Kensteve Anuka, I will just assume that he does not know how to develop a story well. In general, the movie could have been even greater if it was built more concisely and clearly. However, it all made sense in the end.
-Originality: [3 out of 5] I have not seen a movie quite like this before…
-Predictability: [4 out of 5] As the movie is drawing to a close, I’m sitting there thinking, “what the heck does the title have to do with the movie?” but the film makers do not leave you hanging. All is explained in the end and it wasn’t anything like what I would have predicted.
-Directing/Editing: [3 out of 5] There were actually some traces of attempted cinematography within this movie, for which I greatly commend Mr. Anuka. The movie is in three parts so I can not complain… the movie starts with a bang and the movie ends with a bang and it attempts to bang in almost every scene within it too.
-Acting quality: [3 out of 5] The extras were horrid. Jackie did an amazing job in my opinion. Kalsum did not force her role, it seemed effortless most of the time… an outstanding performance. Loved John Dumelo… he did a bit better than John Dumelo usually does. Everyone else was quite questionable… and my disdain for this Emoabino’s so called ‘skills’ isn’t something that I’m hiding. I no tink say the guy sabi act… PERIOD!
-Setting: [3 out of 5] On point… the house used as Kalsum’s house was the same house used for Mike Ezuruonye and Yvonne Okoro in “I Broke My Heart“
-Costume/Make-Up: [4 out of 5] Beyond on point. Amazing outfits for Kalsum and Jackie (even some of John’s outfits were…. fascinating aka hot)
-Props and Graphics: [4 out of 5] Effort was put in… money was spent and we all noticed it
-Video Quality: [3 out of 5] Good
-Audio Quality [3 out of 5] Ok
-Soundtrack: [3 out of 5] Ok
-Musical Score: [3 out of 5] Good
