The story of a young girl Natasha (Lucky Lawson), who went through pains, sorrows, agonies, tears, panic and shedding of blood in order to survive.
"I bled for days, until slowly, the wounds turned to scars and the scars turned to memories" "There are two types of people in the world. You are either hanging on the cross or banging in the nails" "There's only one rule in life my dear, get rich or die trying"
Desperate to Survive part 1 and part 2.

-Story: [4 out of 5] Entertaining although there were some things within the story that I found quite extraneous (i.e the lesbianism at the juju place), it was still an interesting story.
-Originality: [0 out of 5] It’s a Pascal Amanfo movie. It is second nature for me to doubt the authenticity of any Pascal Amanfo and Frank Rajah film so it should come as no surprise that I do not think this movie is original. I think it is somewhat of a mix of the 1996 American movie, “Set it Off” starring Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett & the 1998 Nigerian Movie “Most Wanted” starring Liz Benson and Regina Askia.
-Predictability: [3 out of 5] It doesn’t have the usual ‘good guys win, bad guys repent’ ending… so the ending actually is different.
-Directing/Editing: [3 out of 5] Apart from the theft, the director/producers did a pretty amazing job on this movie. The lines were fluid. The story was intriguing. The action started from the get go. Interest was caught and held. The movie has only two parts and the cast all fit their roles amazingly well.
-Acting quality: [3 out of 5] Luckie. Lawson. I think she is honestly an amazing actress. She does it all so fluidly but as soon as she opens her mouth, for some reason, all the conviction just evaporates. Something about her delivery of her lines that reminds me that I’m watching a movie and she is acting. Yvonne Okoro killed her role! I mean, she took it to the butcher, chopped it up in fine pieces, came back home and served it! Gourmet style! Amazing work and same goes for Yvonne Nelson’s performance. She fit perfectly into this role… it was amazing. Finally! A role that was made for Martha (i.e the sluttish role), since it’s the only thing she knows how to do she definitely had no choice but to do it well. Guess what role Eddie Nartey was playing in this movie? (Honestly, if you can’t guess it then you either don’t know who he is or you haven’t seen enough movies) Again, Mr. Nartey was a (drum roll please) detective? Seriously Eddie, did they baptize you into this role? Ki lonshe? Prince David barely had that many scenes (THANK GOD!) Gloria Osei Sarfo (whom prior to this day I was blissfully unaware of) actually did a good job. The cast carried it all well… an amazing performance round the table.
-Setting: [3 out of 5] On point
-Costume/Make-Up: [4 out of 5] Nice… especially Yvonne as an old lady
-Props and Graphics: [3 out of 5] The return of the CIA-type statistics that appear besides a persons face and gives you the person’s biographical data. I think in 2009-2010, Pascal and Frank them were really obsessed/fascinated by this… how else do you explain it’s use in many other movies like “The Game” “Trinity” and others?
-Video Quality: [3 out of 5] Good
-Audio Quality [4 out of 5] Ok
-Soundtrack: [3 out of 5] I’ve heard better but I’ve also heard worse
-Musical Score: [4 out of 5] Nicely done
