Same people, same soundtrack, same spelling mistakes, same bad techniques. I could copy and paste my review of ‘Cry of Orphans’ and it would pass. This is the movie that convinced me that the elements I enjoyed in that film came into being despite the filmmakers and not because. I know exactly what happened, the two movies were shot concurrently hence they had no time, budget, film,I dont even know, so they both ended up crap. So Congrats!!!
The plot was so pointless. I liked the switch up with having relatively young and nice runs mamas and liked their relationships with the girls and themselves but it didn’t develop enough. Who would have thought that I would be crying for a runs movie to actually be longer? Will wonders ever never cease? But other than presenting the old story in better clothes, it was still the same. No wait…It wasn’t the same, because other crapper, low-budgeted, badly acted movies can do better. I just cannot believe that anyone managed to ever get a ruin a runs movie. So Congrats!!!
Excepting Moyo Lawal and KC Ejelonu, the acting was nothing to write home about. As much as I like Moyo Lawal sometimes her accent/her way of speaking grates on my nerves, she can switch flawlessly into pidgin but otherwise it’s really odd. The girls looked pretty but that’s it, no one stood out to me. In fact I couldn’t tell them from each other. It wasn’t bad, it was passable but there was no way to distinguish them. But even the average acting managed to elevate the movie from horrendously bad to just bad.So Congrats!!!
I cannot believe they used the same soundtrack, the same songs. I cannot understand it. In fact I wouldn’t have been surprised if they had used the same sets, the same actors sef. The costumes were not inspiring and the same spelling mistakes persisted. Did they run out of film? Is that what happened? These people need to just be banned from using title cards.
In conclusion, I have restrained myself in this review. Literally holding a lot of things I think for the sake of civility. What is this mess they served up and expected us to eat? God in heaven.
Moyo is always in a lot of rubbish movies, and to me her acting sucks
She tries. But I agree, she makes very bad choices. Actors have grades too.
Love and oil what a title name for a movie,we will soon see crayfish and salt,or salt and hate one day,lol Nollywood
please review love and oil mimi!
Done and dusted! 🙂
