Gidi Up is a thrilling adventure centered around the lives of four friends in pursuit of happiness, success and independence. However, a few wrong choices quickly turn their Lagos dreams into a Gidi nightmare.
The second season stars Deyemi Okanlawon, OC Ukeje, Somkele Iyamah, Titi Sonuga, and Daniel Effiong with many guest appearances. The series is created, produced and directed by Jadesola Osiberu and written by Bodunrin Sasore & Jadesola Osiberu.

In this first episode – ‘To Techserve’, the group sends forth Dereick as he relocated to Port Harcourt and Tokunbo’s friend – Charles – throws him a dinner party to celebrate the funding for his start up.

The group deals with the possibility of losing their friend forever as Obi is rushed to the hospital by a good samaritan and is in critical condition. Tokunbo has lunch with his mother and their conversation gets very heated and Yvonne is made a very tempting offer by Sharon!

Yvonne and Eki attend Sharon’s engagement dinner and Yvonne discovers a few unexpected things about the ‘perfect’ groom. Folarin makes a dramatic comeback and has a few confrontations. Obi wakes up.

Eki finally sees Tokunbo as they run into each other at a beach party. Monye demands that Obi sees her as the woman that she is and no longer as a little sister. Meka, Sharon and Yvonne have a very awkward moment. Eki realizes she has big news.

Eki and Tokunbo confront the consequences of their actions as she reveals her secret to him. Obi is blackmailed into taking a listener of Gidi Fm on a date; and things continue to heat up between Yvonne and Meka, while the situation between her and Sharon becomes worse.

Tokunbo has to come to terms with the revelation of Ekis secret, and how this affects his new relationship with Ify. Things continue to heat up between Meka and Yvonne when they find themselves under the same roof. Obi finds out the perks of having a sugar mummy and Jola and Monye find out the consequences of having the right feelings for the wrong people. [/tab][tab title=”Episode 8 – The End of the Road”]
Eki and Tokunbo make a heart wrenching decision. Monye confides in Yvonne about Sam’s party. Obi discovers that he might be in over his head and Sharon gets a sneaking suspicion.[/tab][tab title=”Episode 9 – Shameless”]
On this episode of Gidi up, Yvonne and Meka continue fooling around behind Sharon’s back and Sharon calls on an old acquaintance for help; Tokunbo tries to make things right with Eki and Eki finds comfort in the company of an old friend.

On this episode of Gidi up, Tokunbo and his company come to a rude awakening as his choices begin to catch up with him, things between Meka and Yvonne continue to heat up; Obi stumbles upon a conspiracy and Eki finds new happiness in her career.

On this episode of Gidi Up, Obi realizes the depth of the situation he is in; Meka is given an ultimatum when his secret is found out and thing continue to fall apart between Tokunbo and Eki.

In the season finale of Gidi Up: Tokunbo receives a surprise visit from an unexpected guest; Meka is confronted by someone close to him as all truths come to light and Obi confides in his boss.
