[dropcap]Q[/dropcap]: Many remember you first from your role in the 2013 movie, Flower Girl. Most do not realize that you have been acting since 2009. We know that you discovered your love for film back in your university days but what happened between the discovery of this passion and suddenly becoming a familiar face in Nollywood? In your first movie, “Private Storm” you acted alongside Nollywood greats like Ramsey Nouah and Omotola, how were you able to get the roles you got so soon? What is your advice for those seeking to come up in the industry similarly?
[dropcap] A[/dropcap]: First of all the story of my life is summed up in one word: GRACE! Life is a journey and it is important try to go in a direction that is right. To go through the process successfully there are certain values critical for good success. I am part of a process and still a work in progress.
Between the discovery of my talent/passion and now, there has been a lot of hard work, patience, rejection, perseverance, insults, longsuffering and mistakes. Every step of the way we learn and make the most of it, having small daily victories all summed up to THIS.

I had to leave my comfort zone which was home, back in Benin City at the time. Once I got to Lagos I dove straight into the industry. I knew no one! Big ups to two guys; Sam Sunny and Peachman, the ones with whom my NOLLYWOOD network started. They were so nice and open and shared their experiences, contacts and information with me. There were times when I never got call backs or I was told outrightly that I couldn’t act. Someone once said to me that I couldn’t be a star without him. We bless God.

I am unsatisfied as much as I am amazed. I always want to get better. I want more training, more information and more cooperation. For every finish line there’s a new race. The day you believe you have arrived you seize to grow and you’re dead. The word of God is my guiding light and only true source of wisdom, prayer makes anything happen and the Holy Spirit is the best companion.
It’s important to build good relationships that will constantly keep you grounded and am blessed to have my family and the best team around me. Humility opens doors. It’s funny how little success can slip through before your very eyes and easily overlooked.
[pullquote_left]Talent is not enough.[/pullquote_left]
Talent is not enough. We all have 24hours. What are you doing with yours? Just enough or never enough? You must work really hard day and night progressively understanding, practicing and mastering your craft and the business. I didn’t come to get paid. I came to possess.
