Easy to watch
No emotions felt
One thing I’ve learned recently is that there are categories of good movies. There are movies that are good because you were able to watch them from start to finish. These movies are generally alright but you are more than likely not going to remember it or return to it.
Then there are the good movies that you don’t just sit through it, you live through it. When you see these posters or hear the movie name you feel it. There might come a point in your life when you don’t necessarily remember the details of the movie but you will always remember how the movie made you feel.
Love triangle was the former.
Love Triangle is the story of two sisters who fall for the same guy under differing circumstances. The older sister, played by Yvonne Jegede is a lawyer who is trying to help her client, Mike Godson (the guy), recover money owed to his late father. The other sister, played by Mary Lazarus, is the wild one. She meets Mike’s character on a night out in town. They start to sleep together and she has her eyes set on him his money (I mean, well, they’re both the same thing… right?).
One thing this movie has going for it is that it is easy to watch. From scene to scene, it is effortless. The actors carry the movie at a decent pace. The characters, especially Mary’s character, involves a lot of gra-gra and they were able to deliver when necessary. And it’s a fun and cute little storyline that starts and then ends.
The problem with the movie is that there is a lot of telling and no feeling. You see the characters interact with each other but you never truly feel the moments and you don’t at any point feel the love between the characters that supposedly love each other.
Otherwise, Love Triangle was an ok watch.
