Tomorrow is a whole new year and we are finally at the last post of our #2017REWIND series.
We are doing things a bit differently this year, we could have told you what our favorite movies of the year were but we decided to make it a little bit more interesting and ask those who know better. So we asked eleven Nigerian filmmakers to tell us what their top 3 films of the year 2017 were (without including their own movies) and these are their answers.

Writer, producer and director of hit movies like “Ovy’s Voice”, “Picture Perfect” and “Tiwa’s Baggage”
#2. Ijeoma Grace Agu
Nollywood actress turned producer with movies like “Timeless”, “Uncloaked” and “Chasing Rainbows”
#3. Kabat Esosa Egbon
Nigerian movie director of movies including “A Love Story”, “The Intervention” and “Hazeezat” amongst many others
#4. Dolapo Adeleke (aka LowlaDee)
Nigerian filmmaker and the creator behind the series “This Is It”. She is also a director with films including “A Place Called Happy”, “Brave” and “You Me Maybe”
#5. Morris Sesay
Nigerian movie director, producer and actor with works including “Jail”, “Dreams” and “16th Anniversary”
#6. Olufemi D. Ogunsanwo (aka Femmy D Films)
Nigerian movie and TV director behind movies like “ZR-7” and “Ojukokoro” as well as shows like Africa Magic’ “Jemeji”
#7. Naz Onuzo
You might know him as one of the executive producers behind “The Wedding Party 1 & 2”. Naz’s company “Inkblot” is a part of the Elfike Collective. Naz is also the producer behind movies like “Out of Luck”, “The Arbitration” and “The Department”
#8. Imoh Umoren
Imoh is the film director behind works such as “The Happyness Ltd” and “Children of Mud”
#9. Kemi Lala Akindoju
Nollywood film actress, producer, director and CEO of “The Make It Happen Productions”, Lala was involved with Ndani TV’s “Gidi Up” as well as “The V Monologues”
#10 Chinneylove Eze
Nigerian film producer and writer behind “Hire A Man”, “Just Married” and the upcoming movie “June”
#11 Blessing Effiom Egbe
Nigerian film actress and producer behind movies such as “The Women”, “Two Brides And a Baby” and “Lekki Wives
