A deal gone bad, Lance employed Emen to win the heart of his friend to dupe him of his money. She succeeded with her mission but unfortunately she fell in love with Cheta and got married to him. For not fulfilling the deal she had with Lance, he blackmailed her through out her marriage. Only time will tell if the karma of life will cash up with him.
The sequel to "Royal Wealth" is called Royal Grace. The movie has four parts namely, Royal Wealth Part 1 and 2 then Royal Grace Part 1 and 2.

-Story: [2 out of 5] Oh yes! Indeed it is yet another Royal movie (these movies are becoming a royal pain in the assets). A royal movie with a modern twist. A story that has been told before. Entertaining at the least but too long for most people’s patience limit? 4 hours? To see a movie I’ve seen before? I think not… (but I sat through it regardless because Mercy’s Royal Regalia was beyond gorgeous… see ‘Costumes’ for a picture). It seems our dear Emeka Amakaeze (whom we first saw his work in “Royal Deal“) is in this screen writing business to stay and we wish him the best, more grease to your elbows. At least your dialogues are not awkward and your screenplays actually have a storyline (which is more than I can say for most nollywood screenwriters). The only loose end I noticed in this movie was with the Audio CD. Mercy Johnson was shown making a recording of all her and Lance’s atrocities and how he was blackmailing her, for Cheta (Paul Sambo). However, after that scene, no one speaks of the CD anymore. It is not delivered. It is not used. It is never played. And it did not make sense to me that someone could actually sneak into a whole palace with all their guards and what not, alone, to come and kill the princess and only one person saw them coming. In this movie, Van’s character, Lance, kept talking about delivering a container with software…hmm.. define software? (a collection of computer programs and related data that provides the instructions for telling a computer what to do and how to do it. Software refers to one or more computer programs and data held in the storage of the computer for some purposes… – Wiki). Hence, you don’t bloody get a container with software, why the heck would anyone do that? When you can mail yourself one copy of Adobe and make copies from that CD?
-Originality: [0 out of 5] Uhm… no! I’d say there’s not much that’s original about this movie other than MJ’s costumes and Esther Audu’s dresses.
-Predictability: [0 out of 5] …extremely
-Directing/Production: [1 out of 5] Hmm… first of all the movie is too long… four parts is too long. There was no apparent cinematography… in fact many-a-scene the camera was actually shaking.
-Acting quality: [3 out of 5] Nna… Mercy act die! Amazing job… I can’t explain without giving much away but she killed her role. Next to her, the next best was most definitely Esther Audu. There were some scenes in this movie that I was just watching her and trying to see the same girl from “Hidden Treasure” in her but you can tell that she has grown as an actor. From movie to movie, she has picked up things from good co-actors and added to her repertoire (I remember at some points in the movie, I’d watch her acting and think “that’s something Mercy would do”). Up next was Van Vicker. He was not horrid. He played his role… well. Joyce did her thing and now, Paul Sambo. Honestly, I’ve been pro Paul Sambo since I saw him in Ruth Kadiri’s “Ladies Men” but for some reason, in this movie, I just wanted to stone him. In the first few scenes, whenever he spoke, it was as if he was carrying water in his mouth… as the movie dragged on, he got noticeably more comfortable and hence, much better. So I think, he still needs to gain some comfort level with the camera or is it with his co-stars?… regardless, that air of ‘natural’ is still not there yet for me (but sha sha, my guy act pass all those pretty ex-models turned actors)
-Setting: [3 out of 5] Well done.
-Costume/Make-Up: [4 out of 5] The only problem with costume in this movie was the indoor wearing of sunshades by Van and Paul but having said that I’d like to move on to important things. I hereby hail thee Chiemela Nwagbaoso…. wow! Earlier on, I did not credit him for costumes (honestly I only ever credited Uche Nancy’s costumes) but when someone’s name becomes as frequent as Chiemela’s, then you must be sipping on some serious haterade not to acknowledge their existence. Uche Nancy moved to producing and Chiemela, in my opinion, has taken the crown for best costumes in African movies. He introduced the whole ‘african saree’ look into Nollywood movies first with his costumes for Mercy Johnson in “The Feast“. The difference between his saree’s and the original Indian Saree’s is that his are made of lace whilst the Indian ones are made of silk and embroidered fabric I think (see images on left and on the feast review).
