-Story: [2 out of 5] The story to this movie was quite entertaining in itself but all the movements of the timeline (two years later, three years before, 2 weeks later, present day) had a tendency to confuse a person. The ending is a bit anti-climactic in that some elements were left blank like what happened to Nadia’s character. What did Artus do? Did he ever get his money back?
-Originality: [1 out of 5] It is not exactly the first movie about a man with a sexual illness, or a woman who cheats on her husband or her husband who marries his wife’s best friend. Looking in bits and pieces it’s not very original.
-Predictability: [0 out of 5] This movie is definitely predictable, the only thing that could have made it any more predictable would be concluding as a dream (i.e a character waking up and it was all a dream).
-Directing/Editing: [0 out of 5] The editors, directors and casting directors erred a lot in this movie beginning with the children that were cast. According to the time line, Artus is single today. Two years later, he is married to his college girlfriend with a son that looks 6 or 7 years old. Then they have another flashback and go three years earlier from the date when he has a son (don’t get confused please) and at this time his girlfriend is not yet pregnant ???? In other words, his child is supposed to be three years old, yet a 6 or 7 year old boy is cast for the role. The same was done with Nadia’s daughter. Basically, either all the children had extraordinary growth sprouts or they’d been on a strict ‘beans-only’ diet from day one.
The other thing I don’t seem to understand is what Artus’ character has against hospitals. In the first part, Nadia Buari breaks her ankle and he takes her, a married woman, home to massage her leg by himself (hmm???) and then Ingrid’s character, a pregnant lady, faints and he takes her to his hotel room and takes her clothes off (ok :?)
-Acting Quality: [1 out of 5] A lot of extras in this movie could not act including some lead characters (i.e Ingrid Alabi [on left]). Ingrid redeemed herself in the later parts of the movie but in the beginning her acting was pitiable.
-Settings and Costumes: [2 out of 5] on point
-Video and Audio Quality [2 out of 5] good
-Soundtrack [1 out of 5] There were many different songs used and while most were great, others were disappointing.
