-Story: [3 out of 5] Ordinarily this was a good movie, but the story of a movie is usually responsible for its classification as a great movie or as a crappy movie. For once, in a very long time, I watched a movie that I had not seen in the past 3 months. It was not at all a recycled storyline, so what some of the elements were borrowed like falling in love with someone who is already married, the storywriter was able to revamp it and make it all new. I like the freshness of the story but most of all I like that all the really dramatic scenes were subtle and settled quickly as opposed to the usual African movie drama of “I hate you” “I hate you too” now we are going to spend a whole 2 parts of the movie fighting each other a.k.a. Beyonce and Rihanna
-Originality: [2 out of 5] Very very original in all aspects of the word.
-Predictability: [3 out of 5] To a certain extent, maybe. But in general it was only predictable, not to a fault, but in a manner that renders it superior to most other movies of its kind.
-Directing/Editing: [3 out of 5] No glaring faults
-Acting quality: [2 out of 5] The acting quality in this movie is impeccable. It was made with an abundance of celebs (even though I think most of them were unnecessary and some newbies could have been given a chance to shine in those 5 mins that the celebrities took up). In fact there were so many of them that I was unable to list all on the cast. However, regardless of all the celebrities and well known faces the cast member that I was most delighted to see was our own Pete Edochie. After leaving our screens for God knows how many years, Mr. Edochie has decided to return to us. May God be praised. Even more than Pete’s presence in this movie, I was extra delighted about the fact that whoever did the casting did not cast him as his usual crazy and evil character, for once he is playing a role of a sensitive father. God be praised.
-Setting and Costume: [3 out of 5] On Point
-Video and Audio Quality [0 out of 5] This one of those movies where you need to keep your palms tight on the remote control. Every time they speak, in normal voice, one has to turn the volume up and before you know it. they start yelling and you have to turn it back down again. Again, in the night scenes I could barely see. All there was was pitch black and the voices of some people having a conversation. God will help us.
-Soundtrack [1 out of 5] In the introduction of the movie, I honestly believe that they could have gotten a better singer. I rest my case.
can somebody please tell me the name of the song that is being played from the begining of the movie n it plays the same song at the end when the movie is goin off
I don’t know what song that is but I’ll look into it. I’ll try and find out and let you know Nesa
