Royal Sin
Chika Ike, Mike Ezuruonye, Yvonne Nelson, Zubby Michael
-Story: [3 out of 5] I honestly enjoyed the story. Maybe because Mike was in the movie… just kidding. No! It was honestly a good storyline
-Originality: [1 out of 5] I am sure I have seen this movie done once before, and I am also certain that the first time I saw it, I was mind blown. However, this story has not been overdone and this movie’s twist is very encouraging. So, WATCH IT.
-Predictability: [1 out of 5] To a certain extent, I saw this movie as a bit predictable but this is probably due to my experience in this area. I am guessing not everyone will be able to predict it so I am not going to down the movie on predictability.
-Directing/Editing: [2 out of 5] You can very well argue that I was not looking at this movie frame for frame for Directing and Editing errors but that is a good sign. That means that the Austin Faani’s and the Frank Rajah’s of africa are taking care to disguise their flaws. Kudos to you guys. However, in the opening scenes they spelled Yvonne Nelson’s name as Nelson Iyvone, unless that is a special way of spelling it, I will deduct a point.
-Acting quality: [2 out of 5] The people in this movie could definitely act. Let’s fashee the fact that I only listed a few actors in cast but that was because I did not start from the beginning to pay attention and I did not feel like rewinding and at the end I was too eager to see the next part. However, Yvonne Nelson’s boss in this movie needs to touch his acting skills up a bit. (Who am I kidding,? A LOT)…lol
-Setting and Costume: [1 out of 5] This movie is trying to get me to believe that Mike is a prince yet he works at some hospital called Good Samaritan Hospital Complex where the wall color is orange and the doctor’s office looks like a kiosk. Common folks! Even directors and prop managers in the days of Liz Benson could have don better. Work with me here people. Let’s keep on moving on and by on I mean forwards, don’t draw me back
-Video and Audio Quality [2 out of 5] No glaring faults
-Soundtrack [2 out of 5] The music was good.
