Odenga (The Legend)
Browny Igboegwu, Gentle Jack, Mandy Eze, Nuella Njubigbo, Rose Ofuzim
-Story: [2 out of 5] Alright so the story is mainly, guy runs mad and girls don’t mind their business. It wasn’t that fantastic of a story-line but it was captivating. I mean, personally, traditional movies have that effect on me… the “I can’t wait to finish this movie” effect. So in as much as the story wasn’t all that, the movie was good
-Originality: [4 out of 5] If there is one thing that is, without doubt, a certified A plus, for this movie it had to be originality. According to the movie, it’s a true life story or something (yeah! All I have to say is I don’t believe everything I read/watch)
-Predictability: [3 out of 5] I have to give this movie credit for not being predictable because I didn’t know who was going to die or when they were gonna die at all.
-Directing/Editing: [3 out of 5] Great work. It does not in any way try to insult my intelligence…lol
-Acting Quality: [3 out of 5] I think I am beginning to fall in love with this Nuella Njubigbo character (on left). I see her in a lot of movies recently and her acting gets better and better. She is not new on the scene at all yet I wonder why her publicity is not over the roof. I mean some avid nollywood viewers still don’t know who she is. To those people I say, “you berra recognize, cos Ella is taking Nolly by Storm”. Every other person’s acting was on point as well.
-Setting and Costume: [3 out of 5] I am a sucker for traditional movies and the amazing thing is all they need is a village, some red sand, a mud hut or two and a couple of wrappers and they have a perfect score on setting and costume…lol
-Video and Audio Quality [1 out of 5] It was fairly good. I did have a good laugh at some of the graphics. I mean like when they used butterflies as Nuella’s conscience, I was like “are you for real?” but then again what else would they have used.
-Soundtrack [3 out of 5] It had an amazing soundtrack! Beautiful
