Ufuoma Ejenobor, Emeka Ike, Zack Orji, Vincent Opurum, Queen Blessing Ebigieson, Princewill Walter
Lillian, played by Ufuoma, is made to marry Mr. Stevens, Zack Orji, by her mother after the death of her husband in order to clear the families debt and retain the family’s sophisticated mode of life. She knows nothing about the man she is to marry except that he too has lost his wife. On arrival to the house, she meets a withdrawn Mr. Stevens who has frozen time to seem like his wife is still alive. The clocks on the walls have not moved since the hour of his late wife, Elizabeth’s, death. Mr. Stevens has a locked room which he does not permit anyone to enter but himself. Lilian is determined to find out what is hidden in that room and with the help of the male servant, Emeka Ike, she does. Find out what is locked in the room, and the repercussions of their discovery in this suspense packed movie.

-Story: [4 out of 5] Liked the story, actually very different from the norm.
-Originality: [4 out of 5] Some have tried to tie this movie with Jane Eyre (those people have blown my mind. How? Where? When? What is the connection other than a secret room?), needless to say, those people are on a long thing.
-Predictability: [4 out of 5] Did I predict that they’d finally see what was in the room at the end? Uhm… yes! But that can’t possibly be used against the movie
-Directing/Editing: [2 out of 5] My only problem is with the person they casted as ‘Elizabeth’. Prior to the character’s appearance on screen (and even after she appears) she is described as being immensely beautiful. Only for the babe to land and look nothing but bland. And then… he unnecessary flashbacks ???
-Acting quality: [3 out of 5] Even though Emeka Ike wasn’t half as bad as he usually is in most movies in this movie, he still wasn’t that good. Ufuoma Ejenobor. Truth be told, I can’t remember a movie with her in it (except maybe A Private Storm and even at that, I don’t remember her role in the movie) so watching her in this movie was basically like a first for me (although I’m sure I’ve seen her in other old movies that I can’t remember). In reality, Ufuoma is not half as bad as I thought she would be. Actually, she is a pretty amazing actress. Why did I think she would be a bad actress? Let me see, maybe because she isn’t half popular. I used to think the good ones were more popular but in Nollywood some of the horrible ones are more popular than the ones that are actually good. What can I say maybe we need better P.R. It was good to see Zack Orji again. I see him married to Ufuoma in this movie when in reality he is old enough to be her father, that probably explains why in recent days, directors have been casting Kenneth Okonkwo in roles as a husband or a boyfriend to Tonto Dikehs and Mercy Johnsons when he is old enough to be their father. Many of the little characters actually couldn’t act
-Setting and Costume: [2 out of 5] ok
-Video and Audio Quality [2 out of 5] Fair
-Soundtrack [1 out of 5] The soundtrack is an allround fail. The one point is because of the musical score. The soundtrack tells the story plus the person singing sounds… local. However, the music it’s set to is not half bad. One thing old African movies knew how to do really well that new movies seem to have lost the capacity to do, besides actually having a storyline, is using music. Only a few movies nowadays seem to have a good musical score.
