-Story: [2 out of 5] An interesting story that takes an unrealistic approach in the first two parts and then has the mother of unrealistic scenes in the last part of the movie. The story was extremely forward in my opinion (i.e when did Yemi fall in love with Nse. It was like one scene they meet… screen blacks out… next scene, he is asking her to marry her. No character development!)
-Originality: [1 out of 5] It’s a love triangle story… Yes! But how many love triangle movies have you seen in which ***SPOILER*** the person comes back from the dead? Aha! Lol
-Predictability: [1 out of 5] Very predictable for the most part, except when she ups and resurrects.
-Directing/Editing: [2 out of 5] I honestly feel like the movie fell out in the 3rd part and went hay-wire with the introduction of Uche Jombo’s character and all the resurrection bagwash (my word for ‘nonsense’). Many overly prolonged scenes (I honestly did not need to see Yemi Blaq locking his doors and winding up his windows for that long). Another problem I have with this movie, like I did with “Blue Blood” is miscasting (whose genius idea was it to cast Uche and Nse as uni students?)
-Acting quality: [4 out of 5] One thing that was definitely not wrong with this movie was the acting. Yemi, Nse, John and Uche (x2) all did amazing jobs. I honestly feel like Uche Elendu needs to realize her skill and take herself more seriously. Accept better roles because she has more skills than she is letting on with these redundant roles. Ali Nuhu did not look like a gateman for once in this movie lol. His acting is still a bit forced in this movie but not ‘as’ forced as usual.
-Setting: [3 out of 5] Ok
-Costume/Make-Up: [2 out of 5] Lol @ Uche’s attire at the wedding and some of John Dumelo’s custom suits
-Props and Graphics: [3 out of 5] Ok
-Video Quality: [2 out of 5] Ok
-Audio Quality [3 out of 5] No glaring faults
-Soundtrack: [2 out of 5] Hmm…
-Musical Score: [3 out of 5] Nicely done
