Solange(Yvonne Nelson) brandished Akila(John Dumelo) with rage and contempt after he almost knocked her down on the street. Her realisation of his true personality however suddenly changed her demeanor, With no lingering hard feelings and the prospect of better acquaintance, Akila in search of love invites Solange on a date and everything was heading her way until Atila falls in love with her friend(Jackie Appiah) instead of her.

-Story: [4 out of 5] An entertaining storyline
-Originality: [0 out of 5] In true Frank Rajah fashion, this movie is a rip of a Bollywood movie but the problem here now is that I don’t even remember what the Bollywood movie was called (and google is not helping me). So after about an hour of fruitless googling, binging and yahooing, I’ve finally resigned to my fate (which is that I’ll probably never find out the title of the movie it was ripped from). If you know the title please do not hesitate to drop a comment and let me know. However, since I can not fly my rating on facts that I have no evidence to prove (this is not the Nigerian Judicial System afterall), I have to provide another basis for my rating and that is in the simple fact that this movie follows the same storyline of every other Venus Films production. How much more different is this from “Beyonce: The President’s Daughter” or “The King is Mine“?
-Predictability: [2 out of 5] Hmm…
-Directing/Editing: [2 out of 5] First of all for stealing a movie (dot dot dot)… this is yet another 3 part movie from 2009 in which the 3rd part of the movie was not released at the same time as the first two parts and then when the third part is finally released, most viewers get the feeling that the movie was way better without the sequel.
-Acting quality: [3 out of 5] John Dumelo did amazing job in this movie, especially in comparison with his work for “The King is Mine”. Yvonne Nelson literally brought it! Granted, there were scenes in which it seemed like she was overacting, but the babe brought it regardless… she played the role to the tee. Liked Jackie Appiah’s performance. Still not a fan of Ingrid and… when did Kalsum Sinare get so fat? See me see transformation between “My Sister’s Honor” and this movie
-Setting: [4 out of 5] Well done
-Costume/Make-Up: [3 out of 5] Loved the royal attires. My only qualms with the costumes were 1) Yvonne Nelson’s ever so hairy legs in the scene where she was attempting to be seductive. 2) Why was she wearing a sash and a tiara on a date? Ha!
-Props and Graphics: [2 out of 5] Lmao at the supposed eyeballs in the girl’s hands
-Video Quality: [3 out of 5] Well done
-Audio Quality [3out of 5] Ok
-Soundtrack: [5 out of 5] Loved it
-Musical Score: [4 out of 5] Nicely done
