Sincerely Mine
Mercy Johnson, Mike Ezuruonye, Esther Audu, Artus Frank, Michael Godson
Kester and Eddie had their break through contract with Grace’s company. Out of greed, Kester blackmailed Edddie when it was time to split their profit. With enough evidence he won leaving Eddie with nothing. His new quest no was to win the heart of Grace to dupe her. How far can he go with his duping ways
"Do you believe in love at first sight? Because, trust me, I do! My dear since the first day I met you... I've been dreaming, sleeping, eating nothing but you..." - Kester (played by Mike Ezuruonye) Lol I can't believe someone actually used this as a toasting line... this is washing like it has never been done before. To state it simply it sounds like one of those messages that Nigerian boys on facebook, who just recently acquired internet access, like to send to random babes
The movie, Sincerely Mine, has four parts: Sincerely Mine Part 1, 2 , 3 and 4. This movie is also known as (i.e is sold in some countries as..) NO GAME! Hence, No Game Part 1, 2, 3 and 4.

-Story: [1 out of 5] Why do we still make movies with storylines that are this annoying (not to mention stupid). In my opinion, this movie need not have been made because from scene 3… I was done. I had started “No Game” a couple of months ago… after 2 scenes I dumped it… just for me to fall prey of repackaging and buy the same movie again. Now, I will have to find someone to dash it too after enduring four hours of rubbish.
-Originality: [0 out of 5] There is no iota of originality within this movie… but then again what do I know… some people might be intrigued by this.
-Predictability: [0 out of 5] Usually I say things like “some things were a given” “the end was a given” “some motifs were commonplace” “it was either heads or tails”… but this one? There was only one thing that could happen in this movie and that was what happened.
-Directing/Production: [1 out of 5] Many overly prolonged scenes. Some ridiculously bs’d lines. The movie did not need to be in four parts (arguably, the movie did not need to have been made in the first instance). No cinematography whatsoever… (many many shaky camera scenes). Some times I was confused as to what was happening but then the confusion would care and I’d just return to not believing that I was actually watching this useless movie.
-Acting quality: [2 out of 5] My usual opinion about Artus still holds… he needs to stop or better still he can find a silent film production company and join it and stay there. Mike Ezuruonye was amazing as usual but if my guy does not begin to watch the scripts he picks, he will be relegated to the backyards whilst folks who came into the industry after him and can’t act half as well as him (think Joe Benjamin and the likes) will use clever script selection strategies and far by pass him in the international spectrum. I love Esther and I’m in awe of the speed of her growth… just like Nse Ikpe – Etim, there are some people whose God’s hand is in their life and you can tell from the speed of their progress. All I ask now is that she does not go the path of Eve Esin and the likes and become complacent about her work and then become an over stereotyped character, i.e. sticking to a certain kind of role. My prayer for her is that she becomes more ‘broad-spectrum’ (lol… if there’s such a thing). Basically, that she broadens her horizons, accepts more challenging roles and, by God’s grace, work for bigger and more recognized productions. Michael Godson was indeed the standout character for me in this movie. He was funny in most scenes (and fake in the rest) but regardless, his was the only character of any interest. Mercy was phenomenal as always.
-Setting: [3 out of 5] I’m not in awe and neither am I disappointed.
-Costume/Make-Up: [2 out of 5] Appropriate for the most part except for the picture on the left. I think it’s about time we started paying attention to the details. Mercy’s character in this movie is a bachelorette who never at any point gets close to engagement or marriage…. yet she is wearing a ring? Ofcourse, we all know that what actually happened is that Mercy herself forgot to take the ring off before the director yelled action. These things need to be noticed especially in boring movies like this where the audience is bored by the action and begins to notice the surroundings.
-Props and Graphics: [2 out of 5] One thing I don’t get is why all these hired assassins in Nigerian movies come to kill one weak little somebody in his own house where he lives alone, in the night, when no one would catch the assassins, and they come with an AK 47 (that they themselves no fit carry). Why? Did the person that distributes pistols to production companies quit? Why do you come with a big gun like that to kill just one person?
-Video Quality: [2 out of 5] Ok
-Audio Quality [3 out of 5] Ok
-Soundtrack: [3 out of 5] Ok
-Musical Score: [3 out of 5] Ok
