Not many made outside Nigeria productions by Nigerians would I ever suggest anyone watch, and it’s even more rare for series. However, “Life of Hers” is the complete opposite of that. One comment under the final episode of the season states and I paraphrase “I sat through that like it was Orange is the New Black”. I don’t know if you ever saw OITNB or caught a hint of that hype but for me I sat through that better than OITNB. My only sentiment now is “where is the rest?”
It is not pop and sensation so if you are looking for Adams Apples relived please exit now. However, I think for most contemporary females especially those living in the diaspora we can identify with at least one of these characters (more than likely it will be more than one).
Life of Hers is a web series written by Samantha Chioma and directed by Olan Collardy and Ola Marsha. The series is produced by Waiki Harnais.
