On July 1st, EbonyLife TV will premiere the first episode of its new legal drama series called “Castle & Castle”. The series stars Richard Mofe Damijo, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, Eku Edewor, Denola Grey, Ade Laoye, Daniel Etim Effiong, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Deyemi Okanlawon, Dorcas Shola Fapson, Tomike Alayande, BellaRose Okojie, Anee Icha, Amabda Dara, Diipo Adeusi, Mawuli Gavor, Nedu Nwigwe and others.
It is largely about the story of a gorgeous married couple, ‘Remi Castle’ and her husband ‘Tega’ – lawyers who run a successful practice in Lagos.
A former law professor, ‘Tega’ is passionate about human rights. However, as the years have gone by and the nature of the firm has changed, he has had to fight extra-hard to get such cases. ‘Remi’ is a beautiful, brilliant woman who loves her husband, but they have different legal interests – she prefers clients that have deep pockets and pay massive retainers. They met 20 years ago when he taught her in law school.
Their marriage is put to the test, as a host of family issues crop up and affect their work. Viewers will see the couple band together against outsiders and fight each other when their individual desires clash. Will their marriage survive Castle & Castleor will it succumb to the pressures of their work environment?
