My Soulmate
Van Vicker, Annie Macaulay, Angela Okorie, Mercy Johnson, Biola Ige, Ruby Ojiakor
The movie ‘My Soul mate’ is divided into four parts. The sequel is called “End of Soul Mate”. The parts are My Soul mate 1 &2 followed by End of Soul Mate 1 & 2.
-Story: [3 out of 5] This is a really good story, I must say. It’s interesting, which is a word that is becoming harder and harder to use in description of many movies
-Originality: [3 out of 5] Personally, I don’t remember/recall/have any memory whatsoever of a movie of similar plot line.
-Predictability: [0 out of 5] The end was basically what you’d expect from it.
-Directing/Editing: [1.5 out of 5] I don’t have major problems with the directing or editing besides a couple questions. Who did the cover? (on left) and why did anyone seriously permit them to release such a cover? I really hope it’s photoshopped because I shiver to imagine that Angela and Van seriously stood to take such a horrid photo. We honestly need to work on our marketing
-Acting Quality: [2 out of 5] Well, Mercy is outstanding as always. Biola Ige’s acting still irritates and annoys me but…. not so much in this movie (she still ain’t no MJ though). Annie Macaulay’s acting was bearable for this movie. Van Vicker was not that fake and as I mentioned before, Mercy Johnson’s a great actress, lol. Angela Okorie gets stronger by the day.
-Settings and Costumes: [3 out of 5] I really liked the setting used
-Video and Audio Quality [3 out of 5] Good.
-Soundtrack [0 out of 5] Crap
I watched this movie sometime last year (I think) and you’re right: the cover is very misleading and does the movie no justice. Angela Okorie was well cast for this role, but her acting still needs a lot of work. And so does Bola Ige, like you rightly observed. Congrats on being back on YouTube. Shame to bad people!
