-Story: [2 out of 5] I thought that the concept behind the movie was quite interesting and humorous in most scenes. However, I don’t think I’d consider it a full on story… more like the adventures of a man with a weirder than normal lifestyle.
-Originality: [2 out of 5] The “mgbeke loving” aspect of the movie is definitely original but minor parts were lacking originality within the movie.
-Predictability: [3 out of 5] I can’t say that I predicted the end of this movie because I most definitely did not… not in any manner, form or shape.
-Directing/Editing: [2 out of 5] Tchidi did his thing. I just felt that they should have been subtitles in all the igbo-speaking scenes
-Acting quality: [2 out of 5] Kenneth Okonkwo (alias “forever young”). We all know he can act! No arguments there. I’m always entirely amused though by his flirting scenes (the way he does his eyes, the way he pouts his lips… it’s all so humorous). Right next to Kenneth is Esther Audu, whom I have been repeatedly pointing out on this blog. She started great and has been going stronger. You look at acts like her and you can not question her talent. Next to Esther would have to be Chinelo Oloh. A job well done. And the last 2 people I feel the need to point out are Ruby and Faith (in that order). Ruby has been in fulenty fulenty films (way more than Esther) but her talent is not picking up speed as fast as Esther’s is. Faith Ego, however, was almost as bad as an extra.
-Setting: [2 out of 5] Adequate
-Costume/Make-Up: [1 out of 5] Again.. I have nothing else to say other than… Adequate. Although, the make up for Kenneth as an 80 year old man was not very convincing
-Props and Graphics: [3 out of 5] On Point
-Video Quality: [3 out of 5] Ok
-Audio Quality [2 out of 5] Up and down.
-Soundtrack: [2 out of 5] Sounds like it fell out of an “Aki and Pawpaw” movie… but it wasn’t terrible, just not impressive.
-Musical Score: [4 out of 5] In the words of Naeto C, it was just 10 over 10
