-Story: [3 out of 5] The beautiful thing about feel-good type coming-of-age movies are that they are really hard to hate. The story was definitely great!
-Originality: [1 out of 5] Somehow, I did feel like I had seen the stories before. Ofcourse, I had seen them individually in their own movies but never together as one before. All the stories, except Kente’s story, that is.
-Predictability: [0 out of 5] The bad thing about feel good movies are that we all see the end coming. All fairytales always end in happily ever afters.
-Directing/Editing: [3 out of 5] All there is to say is that Shirley is amazing.
-Acting Quality: [2 out of 5] Some extras could not act (I would say which specific extra but Ghanaian names are too long) and I also thought that the girl who played Lailah (aka Caroline Yankson) wasn’t very convincing. She did, however, look a lot like Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku in which case I would have been happier if Naa was cast instead.
-Settings and Costumes: [3 out of 5] Good
-Video and Audio Quality [3 out of 5] Great.
-Soundtrack [4 out of 5] Loved them all. Here’s a link to the last soundtrack ‘How Come’
Hummmmm…….so I am guessing the movie is Ghanian?
